Project Description:
H.C Nye worked with consulting engineer Schiller and Hersch to provide HVAC equipment for the new 56,000 SF, 3 story MAst Community Charter School in Philadelphia, PA.
Thirteen (13) BRAND NEW AAON RTUs with the following features were selected to satisfy the following project requirements:
- Modulating cooling as well as modulating gas fired heating for accurate temperature and humidity control.
- Unit mounted DDC controls for energy savings and occupant comfort
- High efficiency filters and an air purification system for exceptional IAQ
- Custom color of ‘school bus yellow’
In addition, HC Nye provided custom acoustical isolation curbs for quieter operation to improve the classroom learning experience.
