The AAON RN Series packaged rooftop unit (55-140 tons) has each been named a 2012 Product of the Year winner in HVAC/R category of the September issue of Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine! The RN Series won the bronze award for its 
efficiency and energy savings at both full and partial load. [image004] RN Series units (55-140 tons) utilize VFD controlled variable speed scroll compressors, direct drive backward curved plenum fans and double wall rigid polyurethane foam injected panel construction. Variable speed scroll compressors provide precise load matching cooling and significant energy savings at part load conditions. Direct drive backward curved plenum fans are more energy efficient, quieter and require less maintenance than belt driven fans. Double wall rigid polyurethane foam injected panel construction makes the cabinet more rigid and resistant to damage, provides increased thermal resistance and reduces air leakage and infiltration.
